The short, unconnected lines of the center section work particularly well. The "choppiness" heightens the speaker's sense of desire. Nice choice on that!

"a hug goodnight from which neither of us would want to escape" is my favorite line. If this wasn't written for somebody in particular you should save it and give it to some chick you meet in the future and melt her heart.
